|June 25: Steve Deace Interviews Gordon Helsel
In 1968, Sgt.
Gordon Helsel was bleeding to death in Vietnam when God
saved his life in a most surprising way.
Contact Info :
The U.S. Army awarded Sgt. Helsel with two Purple Hearts and a Bronze
Star for his bravery and wounds sustained.
Now Gordon Helsel has written his witness to American history "exactly as it happened." But Gordon didn’t write
this book to boast about medals. His book, The Day God Showed Up, is an uplifting tribute to God, Gordon's fallen and wounded friends,
his wife, and all Americans who put their lives on the line by serving our country.
He says, "It took Vietnam to make me see I had a duty to
those who are less fortunate than me. I went
to Vietnam a 19-year-old kid and returned a man with a purpose."
On June 25, syndicated radio host Steve Deace will interview Gordon for 30 minutes. Steve will announce the segment time that night on his 3-hour program. To listen via radio or online, please see Steve's station affiliates @ http://stevedeace.com/radio-affiliates/
