Author and speaker Margaret Jensen died at her home in Wilmington, N.C., on March 19. Jensen, 90, was surrounded by her family, who cared for her during her last months, Harvest House Publishers officials said.

Jensen authored more than 10 books, including First We Have Coffee: A View from the Top (Here's Life Publishers) and Who Will Wind the Clock? (Thomas Nelson Inc.). First We Have Coffee was published in 1982 and the bestseller is still in print with Harvest House.

Bob Hawkins, Jr., president of Harvest House, said Jensen “was a wonderful storyteller who brought encouragement and hope to others through the message of God's love… She was extremely kind-hearted and always gave of herself.”

A widow, Jensen was the mother of three and grandmother of six. A memorial service will be held at the Myrtle Grove Presbyterian Church in Wilmington, N.C., April 7.
