Ted I really enjoyed the book. As a Christian I believe we should not be easily offended. After all the Bible is not edited to conform to what we believe is not offensive. If the Bible was edited for language, violence, and adult situations there would not be a lot left. I just don't want you to worry too much about criticism about language and such. Look at all the criticism Mel Gibson took for the violence in The Passion of Christ. The message of Christ's sacrifice for mankind needed the violence, people needed to understand what was done for them. God didn't just come down and say "here I am, this is a walk in the park believe in me and you will be saved." He took on our suffering for us, we need to be reminded that because of him we will not suffer in the end. Keep up the great work, I really enjoyed this book, it is your best yet. And just remember true life is not censored and you in no way offended me, a Christian reader.

Just a comment, although the advanced reader had some questionable language, the final printed version does not. Regardless of the audience the last thing I want to do is offend through word choice. But sometimes it takes a few drafts to sort out what offends whom. I trust this story will remind us all once again of God's extraordinary love for his sons and daughters.
