Christian publishing veteran Byron Williamson has launched a publishing division for his Nashville-based multimedia company. 
Gary Chapman's The Five Love Languages by Gary Chapman (Northfield Publishing/Moody Publishers) surpassed The Love Dare by Alex and Stephen Kendrick (B&H Books/B&H Publishing Group) as the best-selling Christian book of 2010, according to the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association (ECPA). 
Moody Publishers has launched a corporate blog, hosting a series of author articles and giveaways through Jan. 29. 
Christian chain stores have been putting an emphasis on their online presence during the past year, as several also saw some brick-and-mortar expansion. 
The Jan. 20 edition of Christian Retailing Update listed the wrong distributor for Like Dandelion Dust. The correct distributor is Provident-Integrity Distribution. Also, the movie was shown in 138 screens. 
Suppliers have one more week to nominate their best releases of the year in the 2011 Retailers Choice Awards. Companies—or authors—wishing to enter have until Jan. 31 to submit their products in the competition's record 45 categories.
