Several segments of the Christian product industry are mobilizing relief help to disaster victims in Haiti, which was struck Jan. 12 by a magnitude 7.0 earthquake, causing thousands of casualties.
Biblica, holder of the New International Version copyright, has partnered with Compassion International, Trans World Radio and the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team to provide Bibles in conjunction with providing relief supplies. "God's Word is critical for spiritual strength, just as water, food and shelter provide physical strength in the midst of tragedy," Biblica President CEO Doug Lockhart said in an e-mail to supporters. "Please give now to provide Scriptures for the people of Haiti."
