Carpentree specials at Virtual Christian Retailing Show
Carpentree is extending show discounts to stores, as one of several gift suppliers participating in an online service recently launched by Christian Retailing magazine.

Through the Virtual Christian Retailing Show, Sherry Morris of Carpentree highlights several specials for stores. Value-priced tabletop items include placemats, posters and mugs. The placemats, made of hardboard and cork, come in a gift-boxed set of four, retailing for $19.95, many with matching coasters, retailing for $5. Retailers who buy $100 of these tabletop items receive two coasters for free.

Tea specialist to speak at festival
Lisa Boalt Richardson, certified tea specialist and author of Tea With a Twist, will be giving a talk on teas, serving up samples of peach iced tea and signing her book at The Cook's Warehouse during the Decatur Book Festival on Saturday, Sept. 5, at 3 p.m. The festival runs Sept. 4-6.
