We need to begin operating a more functional tribe if we are going to prosper mightily for Christ. We know that tribes are groups of people connected to one another, by a leader-Jesus, for instance-and through shared belief. As Christian retailers, publishers and manufacturers, what do we need to be a better-functioning, more revolutionary tribe?

"Historically, board game and card game sales do well in recessions for the following reasons:

  • Families are staying home more.
  • Families view board games and card games as inexpensive repeat entertainment.
  • Families tend to pull together and devote more time to family activities. Board games and card games are excellent for family together time.
  • "The above trend is holding true for Cactus Game Design. So far, our sales are up 12% over last year, and we are picking up momentum going into Christmas.

One such activity is scrapbooking, where serious scrapbookers create albums to pass down through the generations. Retailers, do you sell scrapbooking supplies? Why or why not? Suppliers, why should stores stock these suppliers, or not?
