Christian retailers are offering specials for the holiday today, Martin Luther King Day.

Mardel Christian & Education and Family Christian Stores are offering 40% off one regularly priced item today only. The discounts can be used in store or online.

LifeWay Christian Stores gave its customers $5 off a $20 purchase in celebration of the civil rights leader’s holiday, allowing shoppers to use it Jan. 18-20. The coupon could be used in-store, online or through its 800 number, but the phone number is not accessible Saturdays and Sundays.

Additionally, one gift vendor is also emphasizing the holiday and the principles for which King stood. Thistle Farms—a gift company known for its lotions, candles and similar products made by women who have survived poverty, violence, homelessness and prostitution—is encouraging its customers to support King’s legacy by engaging in “a small act of that helps tip the scales of justice toward love—one woman at a time.”
