Each person who signs up online for the challenge receives a free e-book, Pocket Prayers: 40 Simple Prayers That Bring Peace and Rest by Lucado and his daughter, Andrea Lucado. In the challenge, Lucado suggests that anyone struggling to pray daily should use his “Pocket Prayer,” as outlined in his best-selling book Before Amen: The Power of A Simple Prayer (Thomas Nelson, October). The pocket prayer is “You are good. I need help. They need help. Thank you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.” Lucado’s long-term publisher Thomas Nelson has teamed up with the inspirational website FaithGateway.com to host the Before Amen Prayer Challenge. Four minutes a day for four weeks will leave you forever changed.” In addition to the hardcover book, Integrity Music has released Before Amen: A Worship Collection |
