Walt Disney Pictures and Walden Media will be releasing The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe to DVD April 4, according to NarniaResources.com and the Web site for Motive Marketing, which managed grass-roots outreach campaigns for the theatrical release of the film.

Currently at No. 6, the film has remained in the top 10 since its release seven weeks ago. Narnia has brought in $271.9 million to date at the box office.

According to MoviesOnline.ca, which is cited on Motive Marketing's NarniaResources.com Web site, two editions of the DVD are planned-single and double-disc editions.

A Christian-market distributor for the DVD has not yet been announced.
