Cook Communications Ministries President and CEO Cris Doornbos announced the members of his new leadership team in a major restructuring of company management. Several new positions also were created.

Two current employees were named to top positions in the Jan. 12 announcement. Longtime employee Dick Frieg, vice president of product, was named senior vice president of operations, and Marlene LeFever, director of publisher development, will assume the newly developed position of vice president of education development.

In addition, Cook is actively recruiting for three new positions: senior vice president of marketing, senior vice president of sales and senior vice president, publisher.

Doornbos, who left Zondervan to join Cook last September, created a task force early in his tenure to identify possible changes to enhance the company's customer service and business strategy. Cook has more than 300 employees.
