During a presentation last month at the International Christian Retail Show in Orlando, Fla., Harvest House Publishers and Family Christian Stores representatives gave author Jim George the 100,000th copy of his best-selling book The Bare Bones Bible Handbook.

Shane White, national Christian retail trade sales manager for Harvest House, said the handbook has had strong sales across all channels, with Family Christian Stores recently purchasing the 100,000th copy of the title.

"We are thrilled for Jim in having reached this milestone, and grateful to Family Christian Stores for their important role in its success," said Bob Hawkins Jr., president of Harvest House. "It is most gratifying to know that so many people are being drawn to the Bible through Jim's contributions in this helpful book."

Harvest House released George's The Bare Bones Bible Bios in January and The Bare Bones Bible Handbook for Teens will be published in December.
