The Nativity Story

was recently named Most Redeeming Film of 2006 by Christianity Today. The film was released on DVD March 20 by New Line Home Entertainment (Word Distribution).

Released to theaters before Christmas, The Nativity Story chronicles the journey of Mary and Joseph, a divine pregnancy and the birth of Jesus.

“It's a Christmas story that will ultimately sit on the DVD shelves next to all the usual holiday classics,” Christianity Today said.

Last month, The Nativity Story received the $50,000 Epiphany Prize for Film from the John Templeton Foundation.
