Night at the Museum

, the comedy hit starring Ben Stiller and Robin Williams, will be released on DVD at Christian retail April 24. Although not overtly Christian in its message, the film has some strong moral, redemptive elements, according to Christian film critics.

Rated PG for light violence, language and brief rude humor, the movie, which made more than $249 million in box-office sales, was praised by Movieguide Publisher Ted Baehr, who said that Night at the Museum “provides exciting, charming, tender, uplifting and amusing entertainment for the whole family.”

To be released by Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment and distributed by Word Distribution, the DVD is available in single disc and two-disc special edition versions, which retail for $29.98 and $34.98, respectively.

The special edition version, which comes in a widescreen format, features deleted and extended scenes, a blooper reel, an alternate opening, featurettes and a DVD-ROM game.
