The suspense thriller Rooms by James L. Rubart challenges assumptions about the supernatural world while at the same time exploring decisions that people make in regards to their souls and eternity.

Micah Taylor, a successful software specialist in Seattle, receives an unexpected letter from his late great-uncle Archie who claims to have built a home for him on the shores of Cannon Beach, Ore. Not excited about having to face his tragic past from that area, Micah's curiosity about whether or not the house exists gets the best of him. Not only is the house real, but he discovers that unexplained events begin to happen when new rooms start appearing. He discovers [repeated word; how about finds or comes across?] a stack of letters from Archie to assist him in figuring out the mysteries of the house and finds spiritual guidance from the town mechanic Rick, who seems to know more than he lets on about the rooms.
Rooms, Rubart's first full-length novel, capably captures the reader's interest and reveals how the depths of God's love and riches go far beyond the expectations of his children.
