Not surprisingly, the latest DVD release in the “Narnia” series led the way, offered for $19.99 by Mardel Christian & Education Supply and CLC Christian Bookcenter, while Parable stores took a further two cents off its sticker price. The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian is regularly priced at $29.99. Another new home viewing release also featured prominently. CLC and Berean Christian Stores both priced VeggieTales’ The Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything at $20.97, compared to the regular retail price of $29.99, while Christian Book Distributors (CBD) offered it for $22.98.
Rick Warren’s new The Purpose of Christmas, regular price $17.99, was priced at $12.99 by Mardel, and $1 less at CBD. With an eye on the holidays, too, music game “Guitar Praise” was available for $69.99 from Berean, well below the $99.99 regular price, and also presented in Parable’s list of featured products.
Coupons included 20% off one regular priced item at CLC, through Dec. 7, and 25% off one of six “Bargain Bibles” at Mardel, including The Women of Faith Study Bible. |
