Being a fan of music in general, I was familiar with the band The Fray. I had heard their songs on mainstream radio stations in the last several years. And you might have even heard their songs before too and didn't know it like "How to Save a Life" and "Over My Head (Cable Car)" that were featured on such shows as Grey's Anatomy and Scrubs and were catalysts for thrusting this band into the national limelight.

When The Fray recently announced their record label, Epic Records (Sony BMG Music Entertainment), and Christian label INO Records were partnering to bring their sophmore Feb. 3 release to the Christian retail and radio market, I was glad to finally see that happen.

I had listened to the Denver band's piano-rock songs on mainstream radio and appreciated their thoughtful lyrics that grappled with faith and relationships. And I always wondered why their songs had not yet received airplay on Christian radio.

INO Records introduced "You Found Me," from The Fray's upcoming album, The Fray, to the top Christian CHR and AC radio early this year and it wound up landing on R&R's Christian CHR chart at No. 23 the week of January 12--and is still listed at No. 23 on the Christian CHR chart for the issue date of Jan. 23.

Check out this newcomer to the Christian retail market's video of their new song "You Found Me."
