Floppets can be attached to anything as each has a versatile connector and Velcro tether. They can be worn as a ring or used as a personal accessory attached to a shoe or backpack, for example. They also can be linked together by connecting their tethers, creating wrist bands, rings, anklets and necklaces. “After Toy Fair, probably in the next season, you’re going to see these everywhere,” said Michael Turner of New Day. “They just got a DreamWorks license, Universal license, Major League Baseball license. Well, one of the first licenses they did was VeggieTales.” Floppets were originally created by Ilyse Brainin, a reading teacher and mom from Chicago, who had a vision “to create cool, fun and affordable transmedia toys and novelties that were story driven,” according to Floppets.com. Each Floppets retails for $2. To order, visit
