Faith-based technology company BelieveTek is launching the “Teking Action” cause-marketing initiative next month in conjunction with Blood:Water Mission, a Nashville-based nonprofit seeking to end the water and HIV/AIDS crises in Africa. BelieveTek created the “African Safari” collection of tech products to support the mission’s work. “BelieveTek was started with giving back as a mission and working with the youth movement to show their faith on cool tech products,” said Josh Warren, company president. “We are excited to partner with Blood:Water Mission and support the work they do. Getting clean drinking water to those in need is a must and we want to help.” Based in West Linn, Ore., a suburb of Portland, BelieveTek makes a wide range of tech products, including computer keyboards, mice, cell phone cases, headphones, Bluetooth wireless speakers and flash drives. All of the company’s products are available with the “African Safari” theme and retail between $19.99 and $59.99. “We want to get the retailers behind us and will mention in every PR and social media address that they can find these products at their local Christian retailer,” Warren said. “We want to support the Christian stores as much as we can to get the youth movement behind them.” BelieveTek products are printed in the U.S., and the company does not use wraps or stickers. The “African Safari” collection comes with a display retailers can use to merchandise the items. The company offers free shipping on all U.S. orders.
