Thomas Nelson Bible Group has announced that Heather McMurray and Lindsay Williams have joined its staff.

McMurray will serve as acquisitions editor for Bible, reference and curriculum products. She previously worked for Abingdon Press, where she served for five years as a freelance editor for Bibles and reference, and later as a development editor for books, Bibles and Media.

Williams--who will serve as marketing specialist--is a former editor of CCM Magazine, where she worked for four years overseeing a redesign of the publication's print edition, and later launched the digital version of the magazine.

"I'm excited that these talented women have joined our publishing family," said Gary Davidson, senior vice president and publisher for Nelson's Bible, Reference and Curriculum Group. "Both of them will be playing an important role in our efforts to honor God and inspire all people."
