Justin Taylor has been appointed to the position of senior vice president and publisher for books for Crossway. Allan Fisher, who held the position for the past eight years, retired in July. “It is my delight to welcome Justin in his new role as Crossway’s Publisher for Books,” said Crossway President Dr. Lane Dennis. “Justin has already made a tremendous contribution to our publishing program, and he is highly qualified both theologically and personally to carry forward the Crossway mission and ministry in this new position.” Taylor came to Crossway in 2006, serving most recently as vice president for book publishing. He has co-edited numerous books and is well known through his influential daily blog about the faith, “Between Two Worlds.” “I am honored beyond words to accept the position of Crossway’s Publisher for Books,” Taylor said. “Allan Fisher has made an indelible mark on Christian publishing, and it has been a great privilege to be mentored by him in preparation for this role. Our desire is that Crossway would continue to be a pacesetter for faithful gospel-centered publishing for generations to come.” “Having worked with Justin for more than five years, I could not be happier about his becoming Crossway’s next publisher for books,” said Fisher, echoing Taylor’s note of confidence in the appointment. “Though attaining this position at a relatively young age, he has clearly demonstrated his readiness for the position. Bringing together a devotion to Christ, keen theological insight, and personal warmth, Justin will make a lasting contribution in the world of Christian publishing.” While Fisher will be retiring from his current position, he will continue to work part-time at Crossway in the area of Bible publishing rights and will be advising Crossway on specific key projects. |
