Lee Hough, literary agent and vice president at Alive Communications, died Sept. 10 after a two-year battle with brain cancer. He was 58. Hough’s influence was widely felt in the industry. He was the recipient of the first-ever Christy Lifetime Achievement Award at the International Christian Retail Show in June. Hough’s clients included Terri Blackstock, Randy Singer, Miles McPherson, and Lynn Vincent, and he represented many best-sellers during his career, including Rich Stearns’ The Hole in Our Gospel and Mark Tabb’s The Sacred Acre. “Thank you for bathing Lee and Paula [Hough’s wife] and our staff in prayer,” said Rick Christian, president of Alive. “Let’s together celebrate the legacy of a great agent, industry leader, friend, and brother in Christ. Let’s also commit to finishing our individual races as well as Lee did.” |
