Abingdon Press welcomes new marketing manager |

Abingdon Press has hired Victoria Cumbow as marketing manager of leadership, theology and the Covenant Bible Study. Prior to joining Abingdon, Cumbow worked at HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology in Huntsville, Ala. as a communications specialist. In this role she handled the company’s social media presence, including blogging and aggregation across the web. Prior to that, she served as a staff writer and a part of the web team at The Huntsville Times where she was responsible for researching and writing stories for online and print. “Victoria Cumbow is eager to share her talents with the publishing world and her enthusiasm will no doubt impact Abingdon Press in a positive way,” stated Tamara Crabtree, executive director of marketing. “Her experience in crafting compelling messaging to engage the public will serve our books and resources well as we continue to maneuver in an ever-changing marketplace.” Cumbow will manage titles including An Illustrated Guide to the Holy Land for Tours Groups, Students and Pilgrims by Lamontee M. Luker; In the Zone by Mark Crear; When God Becomes Small by Phil Needham; and the expanded 25th anniversary edition of the best-selling Resident Aliens: Life in the Christian Colony by Stanley Hauerwas and William H. Willimon. She will also be an integral part of the launch of the new Covenant Bible Study. |
