Susan Brower, former executive editor for Zondervan, has joined the Natasha Kern Literary Agency as literary agent. Brower’s career spans almost 25 years in publishing and has included research, marketing, acquisitions and editorial responsibilities for fiction and nonfiction. She has worked with several New York Times best-selling novels, including titles from Karen Kingsbury, Terri Blackstock and Tim LaHaye. Brower was named Editor of the Year in 2010 by American Christian Fiction Writers and Advanced Writers and Speakers Association. “I love fiction and am in awe of those writers who are gifted storytellers,” Brower said. “I want to be able to advocate for authors and help them achieve their publishing dream of seeing their words and stories in print.” Natasha Kern, president of the agency, said of Brower’s hiring: “It will help us to continue to be a full-service agency as we support our authors careers through the many changes in the industry at this time. Sue and I share a purpose to support success for writers through our expertise in the publishing field.” |
