Former editor of ‘Christian Marketplace’ magazine to edit new publication Christian Resources Together has announced the launch of a new trade publication to replace the former Christian Marketplace magazine in the United Kingdom. The inaugural issue of the bi-monthly—titled Together—will be published next month. The decision to publish a new magazine followed talks with retailers and suppliers who expressed a desire to see a continuation of an independent print trade magazine. The Together team is composed of Steve and Mandy Briars, publishers, Christian Resources Together; Clem Jackson, editor; and Eddie Olliffe, consulting editor. “I am pleased to be part of this new magazine as it is an opportunity to support, encourage and resource the trade to build community at a time when we need each other,” said Jackson, former editor of the trade magazine Christian Marketplace, whose publication Premier Christian Media/CCP called to a halt with its September issue. The first edition of Together will be a 24-page pilot issued in February, with the full 48-page magazine to be launched in April. The magazine will be contemporary in style while retaining a familiar feel for the readers of Christian Marketplace. Along with trade news and product information, Together will aim to be a valuable resource for retailers with features such as author interviews and bookshop profiles. www.christianresourcestogether.co.uk, or email Steve Briars at This email address is being protected from spambots.
