Baker Books, a division of Baker Publishing Group, has signed a contract with Michael Hyatt and Daniel Harkavy for a Spring 2016 book titled Living Forward: A Proven Plan to Stop Drifting and Get the Life You Want. “When it comes to life, most of us are spectators,” say Hyatt and Harkavy. “It never occurs to us to plan our lives. As a result, we drift along, often to destinations we never would have consciously chosen. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We can live on purpose, determining in advance the outcomes we want to experience.” In Living Forward, Hyatt and Harkavy provide a proven, life-tested, step-by-step guide to achieving a better life—a life filled with purpose and passion. Baker officials view Living Forward as an important book for individuals for their professional lives. “We’re excited to publish this helpful and important book,” says Chad Allen, editorial director for Baker Books. “Michael and Daniel have decades of experience coaching in the areas of personal and professional development, and I’m eager to place this expertise in long form. This book will be a gift to anyone wishing to live more intentionally.” Hyatt is the former chairman and CEO of Thomas Nelson publishers, the largest faith-based publisher in the world and now part of HarperCollins. He is a New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal best-selling author and has been named as a top leadership, management, and marketing expert by Forbes, Entrepreneur, and Inc. magazines. His blog at MichaelHyatt.com is ranked by Google in the top one-half percent of all blogs, with 500,000 visitors per month. Harkavy has been coaching business leaders to peak levels of success, performance, profitability, and fulfillment for over 25 years. In 1996, he founded Building Champions, where he serves as CEO and executive coach. He and his team have worked with thousands of clients and organizations implementing the plan in Living Forward. |
