Virtual Christian Retailing Show features gift specials Creation By Design, a New Jersey-based company, is extending show discounts to stores, as one of many suppliers offering special terms in a new online service recently launched by Christian Retailing magazine. Click here to view a PowerPoint about the company's nondenominational, kid-friendly Bible trading cards, including its new Series B cards. The cards' 3-D images tell the stories of the Bible, including the six days of creation, Jacob's dream and Samson's revenge, among many others, and feature historical timelines. Through the Virtual Christian Retailing Show, Creation By Design offers stores a 5% discount, plus free shipping in the U.S. as well as an additional 5% off on orders of one case or more. The Web-based virtual show involves more than 20 exhibitors that took part in the International Christian Retail Show (ICRS) last month, presenting products and extending some special offers to buyers. The virtual show had more than 2,200 visits in its first two weeks. The suppliers' virtual show presentations include links for further information on specific products, and access to company Web sites, press releases and catalogs. Running through the end of this month, the show also features Webinar training from such companies as Carpentree, on "Successful Art and Gift Sales," and Kerusso, on "Keys to Apparel Sales Success." The training sessions are recorded for subsequent viewing at the site, and Carpentree's Webinar can be viewed here. There is also a link to the new Christian Retailing Community Forum through which retailers and suppliers can connect for fellowship, encouragement and business. Christian Retailing Publisher Dave Condiff sees the virtual show as "an innovative and cost-effective way forward for everyone," including those who were not able to attend ICRS this year. Further virtual shows will follow, spotlighting seasonal and other special-focus selling opportunities. Stores will be able to access the information 24/7 at the Christian Retailing Web site, or by going directly to http://vcrs.christianretailing.com.
