Thomas Nelson launches gift book campaign

Launching in September, Thomas Nelson's Blessing & Truth campaign highlights new and backlist gift books designed to help readers know the blessing and truth of God's Word.

Running through spring 2010, the campaign will kick off with gift titles such as Fear Not by Max Lucado, Hope for Each Day by Billy Graham and Give Thanks, a Thanksgiving selection by artist and author Karla Dornacher.

The campaign aims to have a strong social network concentration, facilitating conversations directly with readers. Retail and radio will also be a part of the promotion.

"The goal behind Blessing & Truth is to build a passionate community around the gift of encouragement, providing beautiful tools in the rich collection of gift books at Thomas Nelson," said Eric Mullett, marketing director of Thomas Nelson Gift Books.

"Various titles will be highlighted, but all radio, Internet and press efforts will tag the Blessing & Truth promotion, allowing retailers to group the product in stores," Mullett added, noting that endcaps are being created for stores.
