Georgia company's art ‘eternally inspiring' Aiming "to inspire and encourage through original art," Suwannee, Ga.-based Velvet Lime Designs is releasing several new images, including Having Hope, on Sept. 1. The images are mounted on 7.25-by-6-inch black or white wood with a flush mount for wall or desktop display at $24 suggested retail or $34 for American eco-friendly bamboo. A second format-wrapped giclee prints with sizes starting at 11 by 14 inches-retails for $32 each. "Many time people are reading the Word, and they don't know that they are," said photographer Laura Rhodes, who provides art direction. Rhodes is one of three co-owners of the company with Marybeth Wydock and Rebecca Ladikos. Observing that most customers come to the company because they are artists, Rhodes sees the art as "just the wrapping for the Word of God." "We feel like the messages that are on here because they come from the Word of God, they are eternally inspiring," she said. "The Word doesn't go out without accomplishing what it was sent to do." All of the company's products are American made. To order Having Hope and other designs, call Velvet Lime Designs at 678-745-4265, ext. 0, or visit www.velvetlimedesigns.com. |
