In a promotion to spotlight Uncommon: Finding Your Path to Significance by Tony Dungy, Tyndale House Publishers has announced a video essay contest that encourages entrants to share stories of "uncommon heroes."

The grand prize winner of "Win an Uncommon Time of Service with Tony Dungy" will meet the recently retired NFL coach in Indianapolis for a Basket of Hope event at Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis, May 29.

"We tend to measure success in terms of wins and losses, but there are so many people out there leading uncommon lives by serving and mentoring," said Dungy. "The significance of their contributions can't be measured on a scoreboard. We hope these videos will let people see a different type of success."

The estimated retail value of the grand prize is $3,300, which includes free round-trip commercial airfare to Indianapolis for up to four people.

Up to 160 runner-up prizes will include NFL footballs signed by Dungy, signed copies of Uncommon, copies of Dungy's New York Times' best-seller Quiet Strength and "Dare to Be Uncommon" wristbands. Entrants must be 18 years or older to participate.
