The Gospel Music Association (GMA) has announced the finalists for the 2009 GMA/Christian Music Broadcasters Radio Station of the Year contest. Awards are given to major, large, medium and small market stations.

The finalists in the major market category are KCMS in Seattle, KTIS in Minneapolis and WPOZ in Orlando, Fla. WDJC in Birmingham, Ala., and WMHK in Columbia, S.C., are the finalists in the large market category.

The finalists in the medium market category are KKCM in Tulsa, Okla., and WRCM in Charlotte, N.C. For the small market category, the finalists are KGCB in Flagstaff, Ariz., WCVK in Bowling Green, Ky., and WLAB in Fort Wayne, Ind.

A panel of judges, who will review the stations' community involvement, ratings and industry leadership, will determine the winners in each category. The winners will be announced before the 40th Annual GMA Dove Awards, April 23, from the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville.
