The Advanced Writers & Speakers Association (AWSA) has announced the 2009 finalists for the Golden Scroll Awards, which recognizes the editors and publishing houses that best demonstrate outstanding ministry partnerships with their authors.

Publisher of the Year Award finalists are Bethany House (Baker Publishing Group), New Hope Publishers and Tyndale House Publishers. Editor of the Year finalists are Carolyn McCready (Harvest House Publishers), Kyle Duncan of (Bethany House) and David Kopp of (Waterbrook Multnomah Publishing Group). Fiction Editor of the Year finalists are Sue Brower (Zondervan), Jan Stob (Tyndale House) and David Lambert (Howard Books).

The winners will be announced during the Ninth Annual Golden Scroll Awards Banquet, which is set for July 12 in Denver, prior to the opening of the International Christian Retail Show.
