The Winter Jam 2009 Tour Spectacular finished its 2009 season with record-breaking reports of 7% overall increase in attendance and 4% nightly increase. The tour was also ranked by Pollstar as the fifth largest tour of 2009.

More than 335,000 attended the tour's shows held in 35 cities, including 20,000 at a single stop in Greensboro, N.C. The tour broke its attendance record for the second year in a row, despite the current economic climate and a policy of not selling advance tickets-guests are required to pay $10 at the door.

This year's tour was headlined by TobyMac, hosted by NewSong and Hawk Nelson, Brandon Heath, Francesca Battistelli, pureNRG, Stephanie Smith and featured speaker Tony Nolan. The Afters, BarlowGirl and Family Force 5 also performed at select Winter Jam dates.

The Winter Jam Tour Spectacular has received the Gospel Music Association (GMA) Impact Award, was voted "Concert of the Year" by Gospel Music Channel viewers and "Best Tour" by CCMmagazine.com readers.
