Bookstore Manager Software has announced its acquisition of Just in Time Digital (JITD), including rights to content and patents. Bookstore Manager and JITD will transition their current joint venture to the new ownership structure immediately.
"This move consolidates our efforts to provide retailers the best service and pricing for recorded media burning and digital transfer technology," said Randy Voorhees, Bookstore Manager founder and president. "We are confident this move will allow us to offer our customers new and affordable options that also integrate with their current technology."
Paul LaRue, president of JITD, added: "With over 900 active retailers, we feel Bookstore Manager can take this technology to new heights. Our joint venture has yielded both successful and rewarding opportunities to help stores service their customers better."
Bookstore Manager, founded in 1990, offers technology solutions including inventory control, point-of-sale (P.O.S.), customer kiosks for Christian retail stores, while JITD launched in 2005 to provide on-demand manufacturing for JustMeMusic's personalized music projects. JITD expanded its offering to include in-store, on-demand disc manufacturing for Christian retailers.
