Best-selling author and medical doctor Don Colbert recently renewed a major publishing agreement with Strang Book Group's health imprint, Siloam.

The deal extends through 2013, Strang officials said. Best known for the "Bible Cure" series--which has sold more than 3 million copies--Colbert has written several best-sellers, including Toxic Relief, Living in Divine Health, Eat This and Live and the New York Times best-selling book The Seven Pillars of Health (all Siloam).

Siloam is slated to release this month four revised and expanded "Bible Cure" books, including The New Bible Cure for Depression and Anxiety, The New Bible Cure for Diabetes, The New Bible Cure for Sleep Disorders and The New Bible Cure for Osteoporosis. A weight-loss book, Dr. Colbert's "I Can Do This" Diet, is scheduled to be released in January 2010.

"We are thrilled to continue working with Dr. Don and Mary Colbert," Strang Book Group Executive Vice President Tessie Devore said. "Their commitment to their mission of seeing people live and thrive in better health is admirable. The concepts we have and are still developing are easily going to be some of Dr. Colbert's best work yet."

Colbert added: "It's exciting to know that Strang Book Group is committed to continue partnering with us as we share principles of healthy living, enabling people around the world to change their lives and live in divine health."

Strang Book Group is part of Strang Communications, which publishes Christian Retailing.
