Wesscott Marketing, known mostly for distributing DVDs, music and books, is adding more gifts to its product offerings. Though the Minneapolis-area company has distributed planners by disabled ministry leader Joni Eareckson Tada, it is expanding its gift line to include a series of wooden crosses handcrafted domestically. "Today people are looking for the basics and they're looking for them at affordable prices," said Wesscott President Tim Hetchler. "Crosses make a really great statement of faith and they're powerful in their message." The distributor will continue to add to its gift lines in the future. "We're not overly aggressive moving into gifts, but we are starting to look at gifts more from various vendors," Hetchler said. "We're still taking it kind of slow, given the economy and everything that's going on. We hope to, for sure, be more aggressive starting at the first of the year." |
