Longtime Christian metal band Stryper was scheduled to perform today during the 86th annual New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) Euronext holiday tree lighting in New York City.

Besides Stryper, Billy Ray Cyrus, the Manhattan Transfer and Twisted Sister with Constantine Maroulis were also scheduled to perform during the NYSE tree lighting.

Stryper, whose latest album, Murder by Pride (Big3 Records/Provident-Integrity Distribution), was released in September, performed with some members of the legendary band Boston at the House of Blues in Boston on Sept. 11 to kick off Stryper's 25th anniversary tour. Boston founder, guitarist and songwriter Tom Scholz, is featured on Stryper's version of Boston's "Peace of Mind" on Murder by Pride.
