The makers of a movie about faith and forgiveness have launched a Web site designed for Christian retailers, where they can request a free screener copy of the film before making the decision to buy the thriller for their stores. Winner of Best Actor and Best Feature awards during 2009 Script 2 Screen Film Festival, Find Me was recently released on DVD by Trost Moving Pictures (TMP) and distributed by Anchor Distributors. The movie tells the story of two college students, who take part in the sport of geocaching and get caught up in a deadly game involving the kidnapping of a senator's son. Retailers can visit TMP's Web site to watch trailers and request a free screener copy of Find Me. "We know retailers are faced with a mountain of new products vying for space in their stores," said Joe Jestus, director of marketing for TMP. "In this economy, no one wants to be stuck with products that don't sell or, more importantly, don't hold to the high standards of what their customers expect. To that end, we wanted to give retailers an opportunity to experience the powerful message of forgiveness in Find Me before having to spend a dime. This new site is our way of showing retailers that we are in this together." An independent studio based in Tulsa, Okla., TMP is currently in production on its second film, A Christmas Snow, set to be released during the 2010 Christmas season. |
