Thomas Nelson has revealed details of the first of its series of Bibles created exclusively for the Christian retail channel. They will ship next month, for February shelf placement.

The initiative, intended to help Christian stores grow their business, debuts with two editions-a NKJV UltraSlim Bible in chocolate-colored leathersoft and a KJV UltraSlim Bible in cranberry leathersoft. Each will retail for $29.99.
-
The two will be followed by a dark teal leathersoft NKJV single-column Bible and a KJV single-column Bible for sale in March at $39.99 each. Four more exclusives will follow later in the year.
-
The publisher was "committed to helping our Christian store partners show consumers that they offer a wealth of products and knowledge not available in other retail outlets," said Senior Vice President & Bible Group Publisher, Gary Davidson. The exclusive Bible cover designs were "just one of the many initiatives that are planned for the coming year in direct response to the needs of Christian retailers and their customers."
