Howard Books is releasing Father Fiction, a revised and expanded version of Donald Miller's To Own a Dragon, next month.

The original book, released in 2006 by NavPress, sold 81,000 copies and centered on Miller's childhood without a father. Father Fiction features 30% new material, including an account of Miller's meeting of his biological father, Howard officials said.

Miller--who sought input through Twitter, the social-networking, micro-blogging portal, for naming the revision--is promoting the book using his platform as the founder of The Mentoring Project. Miller also serves on the Fatherhood Task Force of President Obama's White House Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships.

In May, Thomas Nelson will release a revised and updated edition of Miller's Searching For God Knows What--to be supported by a viral marketing campaign.

Miller's breakthrough book, Blue Like Jazz (Thomas Nelson), released in 2003 and has sold more than 800,000 units to date. His most recent original title, A Million Miles in a Thousand Years (Thomas Nelson), was released in September.
