LifeWay Christian Stores expands to Northwest Print Email

LifeWay Christian Stores has acquired the Christian Supply stores in Portland /Beaverton, Ore., and Spokane, Wash. The acquisition was completed April 19, and both stores reopened as LifeWay Christian Stores on April 21.

"We were delighted when we were approached about transforming the Christian Supply stores into LifeWay Christian Stores," said LifeWay Christian Stores President Mark Scott. "The Christian Supply stores have been a strong contributor in serving these communities in the Northwest for many years. We hope to honor their ministry in the local area through our service to churches and individuals."

With the acquisition, the chain operates 156 stores in 26 states. The two Northwest stores will hold grand-opening celebrations May 22-June 19. LifeWay Christian Stores is owned and operated by LifeWay Christian Resources, headquartered in Nashville.
