CBA has named Kingdom Retail Solutions (KRS) as its new service provider to help retailers manage their stores for growth. KRS replaces Strata Consulting-which is focusing in a different business direction, including suppliers' new-product launches, consumer test-marketing and other areas, CBA officials said. Colorado Springs, Colo.-based Strata Consulting was started last year by former CBA Training and Consulting Manager Mike Hockett, who was let go in 2009 as part of the association's restructuring. CBA members receive discounts for KRS services, which include localized product-mix strategies, marketing and customer-relationship management. KRS President Robbie Halstead said the company will use CBA's Customer Inventory Accelerator, co-developed by Hockett, an inventory tool that maximizes long-tail backlist through localized product assortments. "I am honored to be a CBA service provider, and want to give of my time and skills to help retailers and the overall industry improve the services we provide in service to the kingdom of God," said Halstead, who was operations manager for CLC Bookcenters before launching KRS. |
