Christian products industry friends and colleagues are expressing sadness at the death of longtime Spring Arbor Distributors sales representative Eric Fields. Fields, 62, died July 13 in Cordova, Tenn. Fields was a field account manager for 16 years with Spring Arbor Distributors, the Christian market division of Ingram. Ingram was "deeply saddened by the loss of our longtime associate," company officials said. "(Fields') dedication to serving Christ guided him to a career in Christian bookselling. While his steadfast service will be missed at Spring Arbor and by the entire Christian industry, his influence and example will be felt for many years to come." Fields is survived by his wife of 38 years, Nancy Sue; two sons, Sean and Brian; two daughters, Heather and Allison; three siblings, David, Nancy and Lee Ann; and five grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 17, at Hope Presbyterian Church in Cordova. |
