Kingsway has entered into an exclusive, long-term recorded music, marketing and distribution agreement with Bethel Music--part of Bethel Church in Redding, Calif. Having sold more than 100,000 albums online and at events, Bethel Music's albums will be made available for the first time to Christian and general market stores through Kingsway with distribution in the U.S. by EMI CMG Distribution, company officials said. Kingsway and Bethel Music will launch the first four recordings under the new agreement beginning Nov. 10, including Bethel Live: Here Is Love, Brian Johnson's Love Came Down CD/DVD and We Believe by Brian and Jenn Johnson, senior worship pastors at Bethel Church. Kingsway's Vice President North America Steve Nicolle said Bethel Church has been releasing "compelling, inspired worship songs" and albums for many years. "Bethel Music's exceptional, worship-focused recordings add significantly to our expanding worship music repertoire that is making an impact around the world," he added. Bethel Music's sister label, Jesus Culture Music, entered into a similar long-term recorded music, marketing and distribution agreement with Kingsway earlier this year. Featuring worship leaders Kim Walker and Chris Quilala, Jesus Culture is a youth and young-adult movement that began at Bethel Church in 1999. Click here for more information on Bethel Music. |
