The Berenstain Bears Holy Bible and The Ambition feature in the company’s May-August 2011 release schedule just announced. Designed for children aged 4-7 and using the New International Readers Version (NirV) text, the Bible will include 20 full-color pages featuring the Berenstain characters by Michael Berenstain, whose parents Stan and Jan Berenstain introduced the series in the 1970s. Zondervan launched a faith-based series of Berenstain titles in 2008. The winner of multiple awards for his “Case for” books, Strobel will debut as a novelist with a legal drama that draws on his years as an investigative reporter for The Chicago Tribune. Centered on a struggling lawyer caught up in a political struggle, the book is described as weaving “edgy characters into an intricate thriller.” Also
