Voting has opened in Christian Retailing's 2011 Retailers Choice Awards. Retailers are invited to tell what they think are the best products of the year among a record 350-plus nominations in 39 categories by clicking here.

Retailers voting in the 11th annual competition will also have the opportunity to win hundreds of dollars' worth of the nominated products. Voting retailers will also be chosen at random to receive a new Amazon's Kindle e-book reader.

For 2011, a number of new categories have been added, including First-Time Authors and books in the Reformed tradition. The new Curriculum: Nontraditional category was added for lessons that fall outside the scope of traditional Sunday school and Vacation Bible School curriculum.

Additionally, fiction was expanded and includes Children's Fiction; Fiction: Contemporary Romance; Fiction: General; Fiction: Historical Romance; and Fiction: Mystery and Suspense.

The awards also include Backlist, for products released prior to 2010, and a Spanish category for all Spanish-language products.

Introduced in 2001, the Retailers Choice Awards have been increasingly acknowledged as an important way of recognizing some of the most significant new life-changing products in the Christian retail industry.

The 2011 Retailers Choice Awards winners will be announced at Christian Retailing's Retailing ReBoot 2011 event, to be held April 26-28 at the Florida Hotel and Conference Center in Orlando, Fla.
