Released on DVD this month from Bridgestone Multimedia Group and Clean Freak Productions, Reconciliation is a family drama about an estranged father and son struggling to overcome the consequences of their past. As Grant Taylor prepares for the birth of his first child, he wrestles with anger toward his own father his disowned as a young boy for announcing he was gay and abandoning the family. When he discovers that the man is terminally ill and has a last wish to see his son, Grant is forced to confront his past. Starring as Grant is Eric Nenninger (Malcolm in the Middle, Glory Daze), while Jack Maxwell (24, Lost) plays the father. Also in the cast is Chelsea Crisp (Better Off Ted, NCIS, CSI: Miami), a winner of NBC's reality show Fear Factor. The official movie site features a study guide for churches, groups and individuals. Retailing for $22.95, the 101-minute drama is packaged with extras, including deleted scenes and a filmmaker's commentary. |
