Worship leader Laura Story—whose sophomore album, Blessings (INO Records/Provident-Integrity Distribution), debuted at No. 4 on SoundScan's Christian/gospel music Christian retail chart last month—recently visited with the editors of Christian Retailing and Charisma magazines. Story wrote Chris Tomlin's No. 1 worship hit "Indescribable" in 2004, and the following year she married Martin Elvington. In 2006, her husband was diagnosed with a brain tumor. "Life is filled with things you don't expect, but the Bible tells us to respond by trusting God and continuing to worship him," said Story, who was nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year at last month's 42nd Annual Gospel Music Association Dove Awards. She won the Inspirational Album of the Year at the Dove Awards in 2009 for Great God Who Saves (INO Records/Provident-Integrity).
