A Bible exhibit will be open to the public to celebrate the King James Bible's 400th anniversary at the International Christian Retail Show (ICRS) in Atlanta, next month. Open Sunday through Wednesday, July 10-13, in the Georgia World Congress Center's lobby, the Celebrate the Word Bible Legacy exhibit of historic Bibles and biblical artifacts "will help reinforce Christian stores' role in bringing the Bible to people today, and the significant role they play within our culture and communities across the country," said CBA Executive Director Curtis Riskey. Bibles dating back to the Medieval Manuscript of Jerome's Latin Vulgate, circa 1240 A.D., will be part of the exhibit, which will also include pieces from John and Charles Wesley, Charles Spurgeon, John Bunyan, George Whitefield, D.L. Moody, Ira Sankey, William Booth, Helen Keller, Cotton Mather, Billy Sunday, William Wilberforce and Martin Luther. The public is also invited to attend to attend the Sunday evening Worship Him service featuring Randy Frazee—who will discuss The Story (Zondervan), an "overarching multimedia presentation of God's story through time" and his work on the project with Max Lucado, organizers said. The event will also feature Dove Award-winning Nicole C. Mullen, Atlanta's North Point Live worship group and the Duggar family, stars of the hit TLC reality show 19 Kids and Counting, who will perform music. Departing from the norm, CBA wants the public to attend some of the ICRS events because "the goal is to show that Christian stores are a vital part of the local community and are partners in ministry," Riskey said.
