Christianbook.com’s CBDReader is now available in the Apple App Store and the Android Market as a free download to any iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, as well as more than 475 Android-based smart phones and tablets. “We are thrilled to expand the reach of the CBDReader platform to include our new native apps for Apple and Android devices,” said Ray Hendrickson, president and CEO of Hendrickson Publishers and Christianbook.com. “These native apps provide our customers with more flexibility and an even better reading experience on devices they already own, without having to purchase another expensive electronic device.” The CBDReader platform enables reading on a smartphone, a tablet computer, a PC/Mac desktop or laptop or on many e-ink devices. The new apps will store all eBooks and their bookmarks on the Christianbook.com cloud, so readers may use one computer or device and move to another without losing their place. Newcomers to the eBook store at Christianbook.com can try eBooks for the first time with free samples, and some complete eBooks are available at no charge. Since launching its eBook store in September 2010, Christianbook.com has expanded its offerings to include Bibles, Christian Living resources, fiction, homeschool materials and more. |
